so in my other question I asked about an english bulldog/apbt mix pup
about how much yearly does an extra puppy cost? we have 2 dogs now. a great dane and a boxer/airedale mix
how much do you think the other pup would cost yearly?
he/she is a shelter puppy
already fixed and has all appropriate shots and obedience is included in the adoption fee

Food for my dog (about 40 lbs) cost around $35 per month = $420 per year. This mix you are talking about will probably be about that weight if not more.
Plan on at least $150 (depending on where you live) for annual exam, heartworm test and medication, and vaccines or titers.
There is also the annual licensing fee that most towns have.
And extra for treats, the occasional toy, and any services that might be needed (dog walker, boarding, etc.).
So, at the very least, plan on $570 a year for the dog.
